poetic bites

                            "feel the breeze
                   rushing up the waving  trees,
                  sweeping my conscience clean
 leaving my soul at ease,
i surely do have wings "

"I think of you more than hours and seconds can measure
its all in the simple things we do for each other
moments we treasure
I long to be  around your mystical beauty "

"snared up yesterday wish i knew the road everyday day in day out

dusk to dawn"

thinking aloud

If you hate a person, you hate something in him that is part of yourself. What isn't part of ourselves does not disturb us

similar difference

readOnYelling distinctively herd, from a suppressed within
Outside,  ink smudges
Society emptied a gallon of paint on me
Now drips spell the word weak, on the sand
They believe to be better judges

Invisible lines,
Demarcating
Gender stereotype,
Complicating
Taboos limiting,
My capabilities in this competitive era
Leaving me inferior

Lets bundle our heads,
Comprehend
Only Mr Nobody deserves an upper hand
"Mas' jampeni ama fence if it calls to",
Because one takes two, to make three
Together we can fight this you and me

If only we could see through these goggles I am putting on right now,
You cannot help but notice,
The similar difference
In denial we boast, floating around
Clinging to myths and beliefs,
Passed on so easy like bad habits
Merging,
Amalgamating,
Integrating into our culture,
Giving birth to looking down upon,
Self destruction

Why ravish instead of cherish,
Tolerate, than underestimate
For we were fearfully and wonderfully created short,
To complement
Like magnet opposites have to relate
Least we ignore the similar difference
Similar difference

Like for instants,
Different skin tonnes;
But the same blood races in our veins
Big head, small head,
they both have brains
Living under the same reigns,
So why different gains?

Women wreaking sobs
From calamity,
Nothing left except smoke chewing up the remains
Nevertheless we keep inflicting pain
Ignoring they are convulsive
Maybe it is time we learn, to tolerate the similar difference

a day in the park

laughs,
giggles,
joy bubbles float towards the sun
sun ray pierce through the lash green lawn
sparkling smiles as if diamond studded
fun,
dogs scratch the earth as they run

all this right in my eyes
starring with keen
i sit lonely,
suspected,
unwanted,
 as an overnight stale bread
like the dogs my mind run,
chasing grasshoppers across the plain
hop, skip
hop, slip
there goes my mind
flash , like lightning

hop, skip
I am playing a game of chess
every second i blink i loose a pawn
unanswered questions trying to figure the unknown
a gloom past clinging on

thinking alowd

these days immorality seems normal. the old folks blame it on the new microwave dinner, WiFi generation.
Remember in my childhood days, we were prohibited to accept anything without saying thank you, whilst clapping hands
Gratitude was being cultivated into our sprouting brains

Most people feel they cant do much to change moral decay, which most blame for the social ills,
Instead they sit on their brains, with hands folded as they observe from the sidelines

To change the world merely boils down to our individual contribution as people
after all charity begins at home
